Comet Hartley2 and the Double Cluster Encounter was created by Keith g
Hi all, tonight I managed to have a look at this encounter between the famous and beautiful 'Double Cluster' and Comet Hartley2 which now happens to be passing by our neighbourhood:)
Here is a rough and ready shot I have put together with 27 minutes exposure total before the clouds brought an end to the view. I found the comet not so bright again, but from the shot you can clearly see it's movement over the course of just one half hour

Crikey - that's really pumping along! Nice image as ever Keith. And its great to see the dynamics of the solar system in an image. Well done.

Fab image Keith!
Not too often you will get a comet in the same FOV as the double cluster.
One for the wall.
Michael.
