Hi Folks

Heres '12 in moderate seeing today. While the spot itself is small what a doozy of a filament, its tens of thousands of kms long!!

Ooohh that's very good Dave.
Sunspot, filament and proms in the same shot.

Do you have any issues with joining the images in a mosaic?
I had a bit of trouble before with panes which were in the centre of the disc.

You need to apply a levels (and sometimes curves) adjustment layer to ea pane to blend it. Also applying a mask to these layers is sometimes necessary as applying a levels, say, may cause inbalance with another pane.
