Hi Guys,
Happy New Year!
Woke up early and couldn't go back to sleep
Saturn at about 7.40am:

'Scope not cooled and focussing fine for my blurry morning eyes...but NBOT focussed.
Having said that....my best Saturn so far
Did have a LOT of Blue/Green in the orignal caputured image though....

Nice work Peter, but at the same time I hope you sleep better tonight! I like the RGB rendering.

Latest Satuirn capture, 23rd April 2011 after much tweaking and never-ending learning
Got my collimation pretty good and managed a capture with my 5x barlow for the first time.
Resulting image is reduced in size and a bit overprocessed but I'm happy I'm heading in the right direction.
Great viewing after on the 23rd/24rd!
Love the avatar LUNAtic!!
Clear skies,
Peter

Hi Peter,
you're deffo going in the right direction,
if youre worried about focusing, have a look at the folowing about making a bahtinov mask, they're very effective for achieving perfect focus.
