Was the seeing that bad Michael, thats a grand image, I would be interesting to see how the image would be on a good seeing night.

The seeing varied significantly.
I waited until it got somewhat still for a few secs and then captured a video clip.
I pressed stop on the video clip when the seeing got bad again.
Bit like watching for a gap in the cloud...

I have to say that DMK camera kicks ass.
What was the frame rate when capturing, was it with an avi or single bmps files?

With the DMK21, I recorded an avi at 60fps in an uncompressed format (Y800, in the case of the DMK).

I'm loving the detail, Michael. :)

I pointed my Intes MK67 at the moon last night which was around 5 degrees above the horizon and was quite taken by how much sharper the image was over my SN-10. I didn't take any shots as seeing was pretty terrible but I'm very hopeful that it will perform well in a more suitable site.
