Was the seeing that bad Michael, thats a grand image, I would be interesting to see how the image would be on a good seeing night.

The seeing varied significantly.
I waited until it got somewhat still for a few secs and then captured a video clip.
I pressed stop on the video clip when the seeing got bad again.
Bit like watching for a gap in the cloud...

I have to say that DMK camera kicks ass.
What was the frame rate when capturing, was it with an avi or single bmps files?

With the DMK21, I recorded an avi at 60fps in an uncompressed format (Y800, in the case of the DMK).

Perhap because light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Great detail Michael, if that's a rusty astronomer with poor seeing........!!!

I'm loving the detail, Michael.
I pointed my Intes MK67 at the moon last night which was around 5 degrees above the horizon and was quite taken by how much sharper the image was over my SN-10. I didn't take any shots as seeing was pretty terrible but I'm very hopeful that it will perform well in a more suitable site.
