Day time Moon was created by lionsden
Another attempt at shooting the Moon, in daylight this time.
Nikon D80, Bresser Skylux 70mm, T-adapter, prime focus.

A great shot there Leo, the skylux is a fine scope for lunar imaging, the optics look pretty good. The bluish sky adds to it.

Nice work Leo.
Moon contrasts very nicely with the blue sky.

That really is a fantastic image. The detail is just stunning.
Guess what my new desktop background is....... at least until I can do one, at least half as good.
Was that a single shot or is it stacked from multiple images?

Looking back at my origional effort here, I can see that I badly over-processed it.:blush:
Below is my 2nd attempt which, hopefully is a bit better.
