Hi Folks

first light images with my 120mm PST mod. Even though its an achro it's still seems to be a good performer in WL also.

The images seem to be reduced and highly compressed and are loosing much detail, can they be displayed any larger/less compressed

DG2. Nice job, looks like real promise there for that scope.

[edited misread original post]

dg edit the bbcode in the post and where the image tag says [img size='150'] remove the size = 150 bit

Fantastic stuff Dave. Amazing what you're getting out of your pst.

Just about to start modding mine again as I still have that cerf and pst-2" adaptor knocking about from a couple of years ago. Just need to find an appropriate scope. Will probably go for an 80mm to start out.

What donor scope did you use?

Thanx folks

Will try that DG1

Its a 270 euro Skywatcher 120mm achromat. Since H-alpha is monochromatic (ie just one wavelength) you dont need an apo.

Dave,

You must be happy with them.
Images look great.

What DERF and BF did you get in the end?

Michael.
