This site seems to have the best deal. I haven't looked at all the sites yet, but pixelmania has the 300D with the 18-55 lens AND the 55-200 lenses for €1,142. But, it doesn't have a compact flash card (have one or 2 myself anyway)... so I am wondering - does this seem like a good deal with the 2 lenses on offer with it? Or should one exect a few more accessories for the price range?

The 55-200mm zoom only has an F number of 5.6 at 200mm whereas the EF 200mm fixed focus lens is at F2.8
Of course, a good lens like that is not cheap but you might get a secondhand one from somewhere.
In fact you could save a lot more money by just buying a 300D body without the 18-55mm zoom and buy your own lens secondhand.

Lexi, I bought mine from the net at
www.amazon.co.uk
, a Canon 300D plus the 18-55mm lens for €891 :D , no compact flash card or cable release with that though. A 512Mb card is about €40, Dave Lillis will sell you a cable release for €16, or you can get the canon rs60ne3 for €43
Seanie, thats not a bad deal, as James said, make sure the 55-200mm is a good lens first, I'm going to get one probably, but i've read some reviews about this lens, it's only rated at just above average.
Keith..
