Hi,
I wouldnt even need to look outside to see we had a good bout of clear weather over the last few days, The flurry of images popping up on the site in the past few days is always an indicator of good weather. So I had to retry my hand at some dslr images of the sun and moon, the Sun is looking more active then it has in years, I dont think I've seen it so active since the early 2000's. I was off today and just had to get a few shots.

On Saturday night I was out with the 20" in a club session and got some shots of the Moon,

Great set of images Dave.
I particularly like the image of the sun, a lot of activity
going on there.
I don’t usually do solar observing/imaging, but next time he
sticks his head out from behind the clouds
I’m definitely going to give it a go.
Excellent work.
