Hi everyone.

I took the camera out tonight to get some images of Venus & Jupiter.
Due to longer exposures Jupiter has trailed a little, this only became apparent when viewed on the computer.
All images were taken with a Canon 30D with a 70-200mm F4 L lens, image details beneath each image.

The last pair I tried to be a little creative, artistic if you like, by including a Mahonia that grows in the front garden.

Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy.

I'm beginning to truly enjoy taking images of the sky, I feel that I am getting the bug as I am thinking about equipment that would be needed for telescopic images.
I have seen the results of Martin's attempts at Sugarloaf with an EQ6 and small refractor, and I've been impressed.

Now all I need is the money. :P

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.
