Help with Mars animation was created by tony h
I need some help, this was my first attempt at animation and I’m rather
challenged with this process. I spent over 3 hours capturing Mars last
night. I got 18, 1000 AVI frames which I processed into 18 jpeg files,
with a view to making a Mars animation. I ran them through virtual dub
and all looks reasonably well.
But what do I do after virtual dub, i.e. how do I save it so I can post
it on this site afterwards, all it allows me to do is save as AVI file.
Has anyone got any help or suggestions?

Hi Tony I think what you are looking for is to how to make an 'animated gif' something like:
You can download 'GIMP' for free and use it to make an animated gif, there are plenty of tutorials online showing how to.

Thanks Guys,
Martin, I thought Flicker was just for stills (Jpeg) I know better now.
Graham, great animation and thanks for the link.
Just need to sort and tidy up images and hope to post tomorrow
