Another attempt at the Whirlpool. More work needed on star colour.

I think that's a very good image John. Tight round stars, sharp well processed image, and good detail emerging in M51. I guess a longer exposure time will help, but, that aside, IMHO its very impressive. What equipment are you using, and how long was your exposure?

Thanks John & Mike.
It is about 4 hours LRGB exposures in total, RGB 2min and Luminance 3min each. Using SX-H16 on a 10" Orion F4 Newt on a CGEM guided with Lodestar. Some trouble with gradients caused by street lamps. I will be adding a dew shield to this set up in future.
