This is my first crude attempt to image sunspots using my old Meade 8" SCT and colour DMK camera. I had a hard time getting any decent focus as we had some light cloud in the way.
The sun is REALLY active. This set of spots is easily visible to the naked eye through a plain solar filter (or welders glass). Its big!

Good to see you getting some solar imaging.
Focus is difficult with the standard SCT focuser.
Not really up to the job for imaging.
