Yea. Took it with the TEC140, Baader Cool Ceramic Herschel Wedge, ND3 and Solar Continuum filters.

Stunning.
Are you able to image in colour? If not, perhaps colourise the image to give it a bit of oomph?
I'm not sure we've an image with kind of detail on these boards before. Superb.

I can add any colour I choose
I used to add colour, but IMHO the contrast is better in monochrome.
The image is taken by a monochrome camera for that reason.
The nature of colour can be quite a subjective issue of course.
What one person considers to be the "natural" yellow of the Sun may not match the expectations of others who perceive colour slightly differently.
Ultimately, the sun shines in a wide spectrum of colours.
I took a couple of images of the Sun a couple of days ago and added some "ooomph" for you Dave.
See below

Sun in H-Alpha
Taken with TEC140, Coronado Solarmax 90, DMK41 camera.
Earth and Moon shown to scale

Sun in Ca-K
Taken with TEC140, Lunt B1800 CaK, DMK41 camera.
Earth and Moon shown to scale

Now, you won't be in a hurry to ask for colour again!
