Now that I have guiding sorted on my scope I hope to be able to get some more interesting projects on the go. This is one taken early November in SE Spain. I still need lots of practice with processing but this is a giant leap forward for me.
4 x 600s Lum + 3 each RGBs of 300s. 85 mins total. Processed in PixInsight.

Hi,
Thanks for the positive comments. Personally I believe I have a long way to go with my processing skills....I am just muddling through at the moment. Since the end of last year I have invested heavily in equipment and am now ready to start putting in some time into capture and processing. Equipment used here is (apart from the two cameras and filter wheel) all second hand....
Takahashi FSQ106ED main scope
Tak FS60CB as guide scope
Tak EM200 Temma II Mount
ATIK 460EX main camera
QHY5 II as guide camera
Last addition was a second hand RoboFocus recently bought on EBay.
Filters: Astronomik 2" LRGB on an ATIK EFW2 wheel.
Just starting to use Main Sequence Pro for capturing (previously used AstroArt 5)and PixInsight for processing.

Love the gear photo too. Its nice to see it all put together, and churning out some images.

Hi Stephen...... "your" QHY5 II is doing a good job for me. That was a last minute decision to go that route as the other old camera I had intended using for guiding is not supported by PHD....happy I did now especially as it has the direct ST4 connection to the mount also.
(I guess you owe me a partial refund now for that plug  )
