Hi all,
Here is an image of Jupiter I took with Jamal and Karl. The image was captured on the 12-01-14 the seeing was not as good as I thought it was on the night in question. Not the best image I’ve ever taking but it will do. The images where processed in autostakkert, Registax, WinJupos, and the final processing was done in Photoshop.

Clear Skies,
Carl.

Great photo, Carl. My 6.2" apochromatic refractor could also see the Great Red Spot a splendid orange last Friday night down at Sandymount with Dublin Sidewalk Astronomers with a magnification of 167X. I haven't seen it this colour since the 1990's. At that time, the South Equatorial Belt was invisible. What a trip down memory lane!
Last Friday I could see the SEB splitting north and south right of the GRS -just like your photograph.
