Sunspots!

Sunspots! was created by jmckeon
I decided to take a look at the sun on Friday evening. I used a home made filter using baader solar filter paper.
The telescope is a C8. I used a 6.3 focal reducer and ASI120MM camera. I used 2x2 pixel binning to bring down the image size, it also allowed me set gain to 0 for a very short exposure time. The first picture is a partial mosaic of the busiest region of the sun showing sunspots 2032 to 2037
The second picture is from the other edge and is sunspot 2042 showing 3 'chambers' for want of a better word. I colourised this picture in Photoshop.
