It's not often that a Nova is bright enough to be visible in a wide-angle shot, but that's the case with Nova Cas 2021, or V1405 Cas as it's officially known. It has re-brightened by about 2 mags in the first week of May and is now naked-eye at 5.4. Shown here at top-right, 6 degrees from Caph. Nearly 6,000 light-years away and if I'm not wrong the brightest Nova in the northern sky since Nova Delphini 2013.
