17 Cygnus - what colours?

At the recent second meeting of the Drogheda Astronomy Club, we were looking at 17 Cygnus through the NexStar 11 GPS. I thought the primary looked yellowish, and that there was a hint of red to the secondary. Three other people said they could only see white stars against a black background, while another thought they could see a bit of yellowish in both stars.

I have been unable to find out what colour this double actually is. On the web, some people seemed to think yellowish and orangish, while others thought yellow and blue!

Anyone put us out of our misery for the next time we get together? What colour is 17 Cygnus?????

"The Night Sky's Observer Guide" says they are "Fine yellow and orange"

Sky catalogue 2000 Vol 2 gives 17 Cyg main star 5 mag. as F5 and the other 9.2 mag at K5 which would make the first one whitish yellow and the second orange.
