It's opening out again now Paul. Apparently some authorities had been stating that minimum seperation would be in 2008, but it was actually in 2005. There's not much info on the web at present, but here's a website from down under discussing it (amongst other things). Some bloke on Cloudy Nights claimed he split it with an ETX125

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Hi Steve
My refractor has a focal length of 820mm, a 5mm Ep would yield 164X. An ETX 125 has a focal length of 1900mm, a 5mm EP would give a magnification of 380X and I believe that it would be possible.
I've been thinking lately of getting a scope like the ETX or a Mak, just for the higher magnifications they offer, but it's a manner of money, I don't have any.
Some day perhaps?
