Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Hi all
I got home early on Sunday morning, a little after midnight, the sky was gloriously clear and the seeing looked good, despite warnings of mist and fog. As it was not going to be worth my time setting up the refractor I took out my 10X50 binos to see what I could pull in, and I found the following:
Mu Bootis
Nu Bootis
Zeta Ursae Majoris
Nu Draconis
Omicron Draconis
Beta Cygni
Delta 1 Lyrae
Epsilon Lyrae
Zeta Lyrae
Alpha Librae
Omega Scorpii
This was a an impromptu session using an old Cambridge Star Atlas and it would be an interesting exercise to see how many doubles are within the reach of humble 10X50s
