Variable Star Display Stand at Galway

Hi,

The Variable Star Display (of VSOG & AAVSO) will again be at Galway next weekend.

AAVSO Staff Member Sara Beck and myself will be on hand to answer questions about variable star observing. Highlights include the famous star Epsilon Aurigae which is now in eclipse (for the first time in 27 years).

The AAVSO Citizen Sky programme is ideal for those venturing into variable star observing for the first time. It includes a 10 star tutorial ( www.citizensky.org ).
