Hi,
I Observed and estimated magnitude of this SN visually:
mag 13.4 using my 25cm reflector at 144x. 6th Nov 2010 at 04.55 UT.
Host Galaxy not seen.
Position given RA 09h 42m 53.33s Dec +09d 29' 41.8" (J2000.0)
2.4" east and 7.7" north of the centre of UGC 5189A in Leo.
It was discovered by Jack Newton & Tim Puckett in Arizona.

I've seen the alert posted for this John on AAVSO and on universe today, the host galaxy looks very dim indeed, it's amazing on how even these galaxies are observed as they are so faint. Fair play to the discoverers

How did you miss this one Dave?
Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.
