Craters of the Far Side Moon - Irish Author

Just a heads-up about my final book: Craters of the Far Side Moon from a trilogy of books concerning craters and features found on the Moon.

All 588 craters (and ~ 1,700 sub-craters) include: an hi-rise LROC image of each crater; an additional 588 images relating to any geology, features or views...etc.,, and ALL with the latest official IAU Lat/Long coordinates in this 650-paged book. Also, 25 official features (catenae, montes, vallis...etc.,) with images are included, along with locations for the 30 or so basins on this 'hidden' side.

The other two books are: ’Craters of the Near Side Moon’ (662 craters, 722 pages) and ’Features of the Near Side Moon’ (282 official, 85 unofficial features, 362 pages).

It's a wonderful side of the Moon less-explored today, so hope it’s of interest?

Speaking of selenography, Antonin Rukl passed away yesterday aged 83. R.I.P.

Oh my goodness! I am a huge fan of Antonin Rukl's Atlas on the Moon.
I require no other book -it is perfect.
I have always treasured it, and now I shall do so all the more!
Originally it was an engagement gift from my wife Valerie.
Whenever I observe a new lunar feature, I tick it off in the Atlas.
There are hundreds of ticks as a result.

The world has lost a truly great master!
