July S&T - arrived yet?

My July S&T hasn't arrived yet. Anyone else here waiting on theirs?

Got mine over a week ago - to be honest, you're not missing much. I think it's the one with the crabby letter from the crabby English guy with the monocular, and not much else.

I got mine last week, has a nice review of Image plus.
Shane, I dont know what you are refering to there, might you be mixing up magazines ??

S&T is the only one for me, I dont bother with the rest.

I think Shane is referring to the crabby Englishman's response to S&T's review of his "not very pretty" book (page 12).

I'd say that crabby old Englishman still has a fairly sharp wit and a good sense of humor.

I also received mine about two weeks ago. It is a rather lame issue (!) except for the article by Don Goldman and the IR filters which he now makes available for imaging the deep-sky in IR. Just don't ask about the price for these filters! :oops:

I also noticed the Letter-to-the-Editor by Sir Patrick and enjoyed both sides of the story.

my Sky & T. for July arrived about a week ago. I spoke to their Customer Services people earlier in the year and more recently, had a chat with them at the RTMC at the end of May. Basically, it was to mention that the magazine is regularly late. They promised to look in to it and asked me at the RTMC to collate some details of the distribution to subscribers here . . . let me know if service is good, bad, indifferent and I'll send them some feedback in a couple of months.

Pat, I picked up issue 60 of "Amateur Astronomy" in the States . . . very nice write up about the Whirlpool last year . . . and the disco in Dooley's I've passed the magazine on to Paul
