A thoroughly enjoyable read. Singh runs through a history of astronomy and its developments and how they inevitably led to the big bang model. Discusses arguments and theories favoured by opponents of the big bang model. All the big names are covered from Einstein, Lemaitre, Hoyle and much more. This is all done in an extremely readable manner, leaving the reader looking forward to the next page.
Despite the content there is little if any maths and would have no hesitation recommending this book to anybody.
Cheers
