Sky & Telescope - Digital Edition was created by michaeloconnell
I see Sky & Telescope are experimenting with a digital edition. As a subscriber, I got an e-mail from them today with a link to the November edition. I got the paper version a few weeks ago so it was interesting to do a comparison. Personally, I'd prefer the paper version.
Interesting development all the same.

I'd be all for advancement but I have to say I'd prefer the paper edition.
Reminds me of when Vynal was the only thing available.
It was always cool to have that big chunk of plastic under your arm leaving the record store...there was something quite gratifying about it.
Now with MP3 and downloads...that whole experience is lost...
the artwork the smell of the new plastic....
oh the memories...
Jeasus... I'm beginning to sound like smiley bulger...
anyway... bact to the point...
For what the human race would gain in saved trees and money..
you'd loose more in way of the tactile experience.

I've been reading the Irish Times on line for years.
Rarely buy the pulped wood.
Mind you I read ALL of Sky & Telescope.
(Unlike the Irish Times. No Sport or Fashion for me.)
So I'd Probably prefer to read the pulped timber edition of S&T.
Peter.

I went the same way on the survey, I prefer paper copy since it's easier to read in bed and does'nt cost as much as the laptop when you drop it while falling asleep.

I'm not a subscriber and I'd still prefer to buy the paper edition. Who wants to slouch in bed with a laptop on your lap when you can have the magazine?
