I'm just amazed it took them THIS long to find out about it.

Looks like a south pole lunar landing is off.

No problem at all.

Here on Earth rough areas such as Switzerland,the Andes,The Himalays,Norway etc. have plenty of areas flat enough for a manned landing.

Shackelton himself,tough Clareman that he was,was not daunted by the most unforgiving hostile and treacherous territory on Earth.

One expects future explorers to have the “The Right Stuff”,like Shackleton.

Space travel was never meant for faint hearted wimps.

"He who dares wins"....................and all that. As the article says.....if they want to find ice/water then the polar regions are the best bet.

Its a lot cheaper and easier to make water from ice then it is to process moon dust to get it.

Not sure.............is it Hydrogen or Oxygen they hope to get from processing moon dust?

Hydrogen i think.
