!!!!!DON'T PANIC!!!!!
A friend of mine has been requested to continue the work of Douglas Adams by his Widow and Publishers.

We grew up suckling on the tit of the hitch hikers books so I can think of no better author than Eoin Colfer to continue Adam's legacy. For those who haven't heard of Eoin colfer www.eoincolfer.com/

I'll let you know the release date of "And Another Thing" as soon as I have any word.

Ginnantonix all round.....now where did I leave my towel.

:) :silly: :) :silly: :)

I'm a huge Hitchikers fan.
This should be very interesting.

Big boots to fill there I think. Never read any of his work but maybe its time to move on from repeat reading of Terry Pratchets collection.

I read the hitchhiker books many years ago, very good, although I have to say I was loosing interest by the last one.

(since I'm no longer a mod, I await my first deleted post  )

I don't see why not - its in the media section (i.e. books) and you can't tell me that its not Space/Science related (albeit with more than a modicum of humour thrown in).

Schmucks. B)

I never read the book in full, but I watched the silver screen version of it a couple of years ago (finally saw what a babelfish looks like!). The jury is still out for me on the movie, but from what I saw (and knowing how book adaptations usually fare when becoming a movie), I'd like to read the sequel. Hope it goes well.
