Does anyone know the status of Practical Astronomer magazine? The website seems to be down and this is following a delay for the April/2009 issue which went into May and then June and now the site being down.
Does someone have the Sept/2008 issue to help me with a trivial bit of information?
Thanks!
Anthony.

The guy who writes it has been very ill lately.
I must personally and sincerely apologise to all subscribers for the non-arrival of the April 2009 issue of Practical Astronomer. During late March I was taken ill but continued working against doctors advice; subsequently I have been virtually bed-ridden for three weeks but am now recovering.
For those that know me personally you will know that I do not give in easily and I do not see this as the end of Practical Astronomer and I would very much appreciate it if you could bear with me for a while longer.
I need a week or so of recuperation whereby I will be in further contact.
I thank you sincerely for your patience and support.

Hopefully it will be back shortly. It's a very good mag.
What article do you need and I'll see if I can scan & e-mail it to you.

My intent was to learn of the page numbers involving some of my work which appeared in the magazine. More specifically, my lunar umbral image was selected as Photo of the Month and my solar eclipse image(s) were used in one of the articles.
Now, if I can get greedy and take you up on your offer, I would honestly be indebted.
Also, thanks for the quotation from Eddie. He is a very good guy and I am delighted to learn he plans to be back even stronger. The magazine is both different and very good with a seriously high S/N ratio!
Anthony.

I've sent you a scan of pp61, September 2008 by e-mail. Congrats on having your wonderful eclipse montage nominated as 'Image of the Month' for that magazine.
I too hope that PA gets back on track as it is truly a wonderful magazine filled with great astrophotography articles.

The mail I sent bounced as the size of the attachment exceed your server limit.
I have sent you a fresh e-mail with a link to download the page from my website.

A huge thanks for your immediate response. You gentlemen are FAST!
There is a tremendous amount of support here on IFAS and it is nice seeing the self-support and allegiance you guys show and which should be a model and standard for others!
Thanks again.
Anthony.
PS. Dave, the bounce was due to the fact your attempts were preceded my Michael's submissions and which probably filled up my INBOX on the mail server. Nevertheless, a huge thanks my friend!!!
