I picked up a box set of the digitally enhanced Cosmos series last weekend and watched the entire series over the last week (how sad is that:-)
I hadn't seen the series since it first came out in 1980. I was amazed at how relevant it still is today- Carl Sagans message is the same and just as important now as it was when it was first broadcast . This series had a big impact on me as a young teenager and helped to direct me towards the life of a scientist. Watching the series again reminded my of why I took the path I did. (Very sentimental:P )
I would highly recommend picking up a box set if you come across one as the series is getting harder to find and is more of a collectable now.
