yea, was out last sat night, and caught M31, and saturn back in the sky
i couldnt see the cassini division, and no matter how well i focused, saturn was a bit jumpy. is that bad seeing, or collomation required?

Have you ever seen the cassini division through this scope?, if so, like Keilth said, its probabily down to bad seeing. Bad collimation will be obvious as star points will tend to flare if its out alot. Mist and fog tend to wash out the image and make it fuzzy, so would not at all help.
You deffo need to get a light pollution filter, you might also consider getting a oxygen3 filter, it works well for me with the likes of the orion nebula. It does darken the overall image, but the contrast is improved.

I'd suspect that on a good night you'll see the division, you will also see titan and maybe 2 or 3 more.

I wouldn't worry. Poor seeing will completely wipe out the Cassini division.
I had no problem seeing Cassini Division in a 5inch Mak when seeing allowed so it should be visible in the 6 incher.
Also, you really have to wait until it's quite high to get a good view.
