Hi Tshok

Best thing to do is go out and play around with it and see how you get on. Try the moon first....should be easy to spot and then once you have got the hang of how everything works try find a few brighter objects, planets. Hopefullly the weather will improve for you and you will let us all know how you get on....

Hi Tshok,
Welcome, looks like the weather is going to get cold with frost this week, so you should get a few clear skies, presuming you're in Ireland.
Stick to the lower magnifications, have a look a the the orion nebula and the brightest stars to judge their colour amd practice focusing.
BTW, you'll only see colour in the brightest stars and planets, no-where else.
There was a fine cresent moon this evening, the perfect object to test the scope on.
