You're not wrong there!!!!!!!
Could just about make out the main stars of Cassiopeia last night. Even Deneb was really dim. Anything to the East, North or NorthWest is invisible. That's why I got an imager. Visual REALLY sucks from here.
Got to get a shotgun to get rid of the 2 new 500Watt security lights that are now pointing right at my back garden :x :x :x :x :x

You cant even see the SKY from the light polluted and casino-polluted holiday resort of Salthill.

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time. . . .

Those two lights are ridiculous! I'm going to complain! There coming from the rear of the bal pub and are totally useless as in they have NO purpose what so ever! Guys these beams cover about 30 degrees of the sky if not more! And from trevors house completely cover the orion nebula!
Dave:Thanks i had forgotten about the tour! I got too excited to remember ALL the details of the scope!
Unfortunately salthill is very light polluted but there are still things to be seen!
Trevor: Ya the filter actually just made it harder to view the nebulae as it was on a 70mm skylux! Thanks for the offer and im sure ill be taking you up on it soon!
Well guys i have LOADS of stuff to view now! Just gotta write down all the numbers!
Thanks Guys,
Matt
