I heard Johns Hopkins Uni. give distanse learning courses?
But i have no idea of how to go about doing this...
Any help appreciated

Try the Open University. They offer two courses S282 Astronomy and S283 Planetary Science and search for life. Once you have taken and passed these courses they award you with a cetificate in astronomy and planetary science. I did this and completed it a year ago and now have my certificate. Its of no use if you want to learn how to set up a scope etc but at least you have a bit more knowledge about what you are looking at.

Hi Snakebite,
welcome to the boards! As I said to you on the other boards you asked this on, you could also broaden your horizons by joining a club - there are 3 (that I know of) in Dublin (seeing your profile). Out of curiosity, what do you hope to achieve from a certification? For some of the answers you might get here, some might be helpful towards a formal 3rd level course/qualification...

Hi.
Astronomy Ireland published a guide to studying astronomy in Ireland a few months back. I don't know if they have any left. Perhaps give em a call and see if there's any left. If not I might have a copy floating around here somewhere.

I'd definitely look into the Open University. Their astronomy courses are excellent with very well written course content. They also have a nice short intro course S194 - Introduction to Astronomy.
