AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHH!!!!! ME AGAIN!!!!!

Hi all,
Kevin from galway here again... Can anyone tell me if you can stack SLR images with registax? or does it have to be webcam AVI files..... in which case I have to go get a laptop and webcam.... I have a heap of images of Andromeda and i want to stack and process them.. REALLY frustrated!!!! Know you guys will come up trumps , you always do!!!

Might have to get laptop anyway as this dirty BA***** of a computer i have jus wreckin my head!

You can use Registax but you will have to reduce all the images to size it will handle, (cannot remember the maximum size it will handle).

Yes you can but it a serious load on a PC to stack images of this size, as they are usually alot bigger then webcam images, so you need a hefty processor and alot of ram to do this.
Last time I tried this it was using nearly 1 GIG of the PC memory and that was on a hyperthread 3GHz P4 with only a hand full of images and it wasn't running like anything you'd call fast. :shock:

to dave... i think that was the prob wit registax.. would not or could not load images.

All i need now is practice and weather....
