Hi Budz,
great to see another female on here as we are a definate minority! I have only been 'active' in my local club (Deise Astronomy based in Waterford) for the past couple of years and on the whole, people are very welcoming and friendly (in D.A.S. & I.F.A.S!).
Can I join the minority club? I've been with the EAAS for less than a year and for some reason I've ended up as their treasurer, I can't still figure out how exactly it happened? Some mind altering drug I guess!
I'm also heading to WSP, so I'll see you both there, I'll be the loud one running after Kieran!

Hey Mia, same thing happened to me at my first IFAS meeting!
Is it a girl thing, Bernie?
(Apologies to any MALE treasurers at any of the clubs! )
The EAAS lulled me into a false sense of security before they sprang it on me, at least it wasn't the first meeting, you poor thing, you!
Apparently I'm to make the tea! HAH! Ask Dave (McDonald) who makes him the tea tonight after he does his talk for us!
Wanna place bets it won't be me???
