hi everyone, Declan here. A long time since I posted anything, wondering if any like minded individuals are interested in a get together some time. I was loosly speaking a member of KAS (newbridge) but this club has gone into hibernation. anyone in the Laois area want to get together - even informally (my kitchen in ballylinan CoLaois would do to).
anybody in carlow, kilkenny, kildare, laois, region.
I am an amatur amatur astronomer with the following:
15x70 skymaster bonos
70mm refractor
5.1" reflector (bad decision)
saving for 10" dob instead
loads of enthusiasm
but miles from anywhere

thanks seanie for the reply. I just AA routed tullamore from Ballylinan and see its 50 minutes. not bad i suppose once a month. gets lonely here in the sticks, with your barlow in one hand and the other in your pocket - wondering if your the only mad-man in the village or a frosty night.
