I guarantee you Frank the battery is someway damaged, but the fact that this deepcycle was done only once means that it might be only slightly damaged in that it might only hold 90% of its previously maximum charge.
I was kinda surprised to hear that it was completely gone after that night up on the hill,
Glad to hear its ok now.

Yeah, It surprised me as well.
Im still getting a 100% read out so how would the autostar
gleen the infor to say at what level the battery is at in the first place?
I was thinking the autostar was wrong but the all nigher test proved otherwise.

I have seen that happen with car lead-acid batteries. They would be completely dead, but with about a 24 hour charge, would be back up and running again. What kind of batery is in yours, Frank?

Aye, but I was wondering what TYPE of battery is in it. Those specs don't say.

Seanie,
Its probably a Deep Cycle SLA.
All Lead acid batteries should be re-charged immediately after use, and never be allowed fully discharge. Any full discharge will damage the battery, and not recharging it after every use will decrease its lifespan.
