The archives on this site are HUGE.....................they go back 4 yrs (the ones i have seen). Maybe it would be best to trim them down a fair bit...........
That will make some room.
I know i have started some silly threads....................and i promise i wont do it again (Seanie delete them as you find them).
I just do it cuz the weather is so BAD and we are bored and it's nice to have a bit of fun every now and then.
God knows when we start getting better weather..............i'll only be posting here a couple of times a week with valid astronomical stuff.

As stated above..hosting images off site does free up bandwidth. So images shouldnt be a problem.

OK, firstly, we really don't want to loose our history. Secondly, it's bandwidth that's the problem, not storage space. Deleting the archives won't cut down on bandwidth.

You are correct. Stupid of me to even suggest it.
There are lots of threads i'd like to comment on them but i dont because they are so old.

Assuming your comments are more than just one-word replies but actually add to the substance of the threads, go for it. Don't worry about the thread being old ... astronomy is hundreds of years old!
