Thanks for all the advise.
I've decided to go for the 400D in the end and it should be here soon.
Now all I need is a piggyback bracket, some counterweights and a decent lens and I'm ready to go.
If anyone has a bracket and a set of counterweights for a 10" LX200 they no longer need, please let me know.
