CHEERS ALL... ILL POST RESULTS WHEN I GET A CHANCE TO HAVE ANOTHER GO... I had a go, but I F****d up the flats... Here is latest, processed and fixed as much as I could.. dont judge me on this one.. still gonna try again...

The banding and colour noise will still be left - I would have thought bias frames would help but you're right - it could be an imager issue...

but I still don't think that the sole problem here is vignetting
Just that after perfect pre processing techniques he will still be left with the banded noise - odd that darks and bias didn't clean them up. I think he should borrow another DSLR and try it on the same setup to rule out a fault in his 400D.
