hi everyone im new to all this so hope i can get some help from time to time. does anyone know if there is astronomers club in derry if so would you please let me know tks

Welcome to our little home. I don't know of any clubs in your neck of the woods, and there have been others before you asking about clubs in that region (Donegal, Derry, Tyrone). There are 2 prominent clubs in Northern Ireland we know of:

* Northern Ireland Amateur Astronomy Society (NIASS, formerly East Antrim Astronomy Society)
* Irish Astronomical Association

I know they are not exactly 'local' astronomy clubs, but they might do events in various areas around the area of N.I. There is also the setting up Larne Astronomy Club soon, you can read about it here:
