Getting the hang of it at last. was created by Crescent
Hi everyone. I finally got to see some clusters last night with the new scope. I went and bought a 40mm eye piece and it did the trick. I concentrated on only 3 items. M36, M37 & M38. Binoculars first then 40mm then 25mm and finally 10mm eye pieces. I could really pick out the individual stars. The conditions last night were very good. Before i called it a night i tried saturn. Oh my god it was so clear i never seen it before. Very impressive. Sorry for this rant, I know this is old hat for most of you but no one else will listen to me. Im typing this on my phone so sorry for the layout.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Glad everything's worked out.
There's nothing like that "WOW" moment.
