Very nice to see Brendan, your photos capture the colour nicely. Did anyone else spot them? Mostly cloud and haze here in Tullamore BUT a few listeners to the show last night did mention they thought they saw them last week and weekend gone, from a dark midlands location.

Thanks everyone,
It is very kind of you all to take the time to write such nice comments. Also, If you get a chance can you take a look at Dave g blog post under the thread Bad Astronomy. It clears up nicely some of the inaccuracies made by some paper writing about the story.
Thanks again everyone,
Brendan

Excellent images there, looking through face book there seemed to be many more out to watch and photograph the celestial event. Even though last Oct i got two images on the 9pm news but lovely images
