Nice to have spotted the ISS 2 nights in a row (Thursday and Friday). But no Iridium flares for me either night. However I will try again.
On Friday night, I had one last look at Mars. It is now less than 90% illuminated and the gibbous phase is very noticeable at 167X and 225X. There is also a lovely dark collar around the North Polar Cap now. Otherwise is just a charming orange shaped oval. Has a big dust storm started, I wonder? No other features observable.
Well done, Fermidox, with your Iridium Flare.
Aubrey.
