A few of us were doing some outreach tonight up at Ballintoy on the north coast, and got a great view. It really made the night.

I was out at 01.30 and i think it was too late as i couldn't see anything, under/at what constellations was it located ?
I got some widefield shots but there's nothing there.

Hi Dave, was under the Plough, it may have finished at 1.30, as it was getting weaker in my shots, near the end, I called it a night shortly after 12, I post picture tomorow

Have asked this before probably, so apologies in advance, how different is the naked eye view of a display v what the camera picks up?

Less than 2 weeks to the equinox, activity seems to pick up around that time - not sure why.

What in people's view are good camera settings for photgraphing the aurora, i.e. ISO level, f ratio, exposure length etc?
