Anyone ever see the Aurora from the Wicklow Mountains? Its usually good dark skies, but I Imagine Dublin to the north will obscure anything less than a very significant aurora, where its almost overhead.
Some hands on experience would be very useful!

Yeah it was a decent sight from Cavan last light during a brief clear spell, even through strong moonlight.
I would imagine Dublin lights would have killed it

Nothing visible last night, but it was an otherwise clear and unexpectedly clear night with a chance to bring out the binos for half an hour with my son and his binos (Santa was kind to him this year, he's beginning to love looking at the stars!).
