It kept raining at the Sugarloaf and down in Bray town after 8 am. Got home at 8.30 and went to bed.
My thanks to Paul Lunartic and Rafael who joined me. John Skynotes was very kindly keeping me up to date with his texts.
But it just was not to be that we were going to get any clearance for the Venus Saturn conjunction.
I get the feeling Northern Ireland observers probably fared better.

Well done, John!

I did not bother. I shall try and be out for the next event in due course.

My 2016 yearbook states that there is an another planetary conjunction that is even closer than the Venus -Saturn one.
I have yet to find out what it is.
