It is at perihelion on July 3rd with peak brightness predictions at mag +2.5. Not visible at the start of July, circumpolar by mid month. Sets at 02:00 by the end of the month. Passes by the following in July:

5th am M37
7th pm Theta Aurigae
18th pm Iota Ursae Majoris
22nd pm Lambda Ursae Majoris
24th pm Phi Ursae Majoris
31st pm Gamma Comae Berencies

Magnitude is now estimated at between 0.5 and 1.5 in the dawn sky; on the fringe of naked eye visibility and impressive in binoculars. Michael Jager, the best comet photographer in the world imo, posted this superb image from this morning -
