Venus and Jupiter Conjunction

The two planets are at their closest on March 1 with an approximate gap of 38 arcminutes (just over the width of the full moon from the perspective of an observer). On Tuesday - Thursday nights this week (21 - 23 Feb), they are joined by the waxing crescent moon. 

Venus is certainly visiting the neighbours lately.

Right now at 7pm on Wednesday 22nd February, I can see without any telescope or binoculars, the 2 days old Crescent Moon, Venus and Jupiter from a bedroom window. 
No way can I get my refractor on them as they are too low in the western sky.
